Since I have nothing (it’s driving me crazy, honestly) to do anymore while waiting for graduation, I figured I’d start blogging about more things in my life (for those who care to read about it). So I decided to start blogging now, and I decided to focus on this: My growing collection of school-related shirts. 

You’re probably wondering why I decided to blog about this, I mean, I’m going to graduate so isn’t it a little late to blogging about school shirts but here’s the reason: Ever since I was a freshman in college in 2008, I only owned ONE shirt. One simple shirt that spelled out the cheer of Babble. That was it. (So basically I wanna show how pathetic I was with the whole concept of “school spirit” back then)

I never watched any UAAP games (except one of the Finals against UE where we lost- my friend Rami took me, it was his birthday gift to me) and I wasn’t even really paying attention (we lost that game, anyway HAHA) and I was just sitting, enjoying my Dairy Queen blizzard.

Then I met my boyfriend and everything changed- I started to learn more about basketball, I went to dozens of games and even watched the replays with him and my family on TV (my family was extra happy about this, they hated the fact that they’d watch the games and talk about it at dinner and I sat quietly, not being able to relate to anything). And so did my body- that one little Ateneo shirt I had couldn’t fit me anymore (I’d like to believe it shrank in the wash and I didn’t just get fatter :( HAHA)

Another thing that changed was the closet space I had. I had to make room for all these shirts I started receiving. And don’t get me wrong, I love them all! I no longer need to buy, I’ve been getting them as gifts for games and I’m so happy about it! I have tons of shirts to wear now (when my boyfriend and I first started dating I checked my closet and only realized I had 3 shirts I could wear to games- a plain white v neck, a blue and white striped v neck and a blue tank top - Yeah, I definitely needed to stock up on blue tops! HAHA)

One of my favorite brands of UAAP/ATENEO shirts? BLUE CREW! Owned by one of my friends Mikko, they offer the best quality and design shirts I’ve seen! Super cute designs and affordable prices too! I love each and every one of the shirts they’ve given me and I even customized some of them (NS8 shirt, ATENEO Run DMC inspired shirt) and many others. I super super looooveeee Blue Crew and I hope that even if I’ve graduated already they’ll still give me shirts for season 75 (HINT HINT MIKS HAHA ;D)

I suggest you guys visit their store online or drop by the LS bookstore in Ateneo to check out the shirts. They even have mugs (yes, MUGS) of your favorite basketball players! They have everything every fan of Ateneo would love! Check them out when you can! :)
